Prior to being slaughtered, the bison are put on concentrated feed stuff (barley) in so-called "feedlots" for a period of approximately 90 days. After slaughtering, the animals have a carcass weight of approximately 325 kg. For export to the EU, the bison are processed in EU-certified slaughter and cutting companies.

Only prime quality animals with a "Canadian Grade A 1" seal of quality are exported.

Our bison are imported directly from Canada. Our suppliers are farmers and breeders as well as processors at the same time. 4-5 days after slaughter, the goods are loaded for transport in Canada. Eight days after slaughter we supply our customers with fresh products.
